Every Spring, a Guatemalan Clinic

A Speech & Hearing Sciences team has volunteered in Guatemala each spring since 2013, inspired by a guest speaker from another university who led a similar program. SPHSC graduate students planned the first trip and asked Dunlap to serve as their adviser. Dunlap and second-year graduate students have returned every year since.

The Seattle Times reported the results of the Center for World University Rankings. As it turns out, forty-five academic disciplines offered by the University of Washington were ranked in the top 10 among universities in the world. Of the UW forty-five disciplines listed, Speech and Hearing Sciences was ranked 2nd in the world!
